Launch Report - Pod to Blog Converter

Summary

I built a new tool. It’s called Pod to Blog Converter. It’s still very crude. It’s like an MVP of the MVP. But I wanted to get it out and talk about it to try and increase the serendipity of it getting out there.

I started building this tool in March. The initial inspiration was 1) I wanted to see if people were searching for keywords related to their favorite podcasters and if I could create some kind of fan site / affiliate site to address those searches. And 2) I wanted to see if it was possible to convert podcasts into blog posts and send them to my Kindle.

Again the tool is a rough draft but I wanted to get it out and start talking with other podcasters and see what they think. We’ll see how it goes.

What Are the Benefits?

This tool helps podcasters get their content ranking and read.

To see if it works, I built a dummy site called ReadAndrewHuberman.com. This site now gets 10k monthly organic visitors. People are finding it and they’re engaging. 💪

How Does it Work?

P2B has three main features:

• It can automatically convert a podcast into a blog and automatically publish it to our website (or post it as a draft in your CMS)

• It can convert an entire backlog of content into blogs

• It can splice individual podcasts into multiple blogs posts separating each by the topic discussed

Next Steps
